Awesome website, I will be checking your info rather then Yahoo. Brad Evans is an idiot! “PT Bruiser my A@@”. I hope you are right about Braylon because I feel the same.

    Good luck on Sunday.

who do you suggest i start at my swing position…

    Michael Bush
    Reggie Bush
    Tashard Choice
    Carnell Williams

…..im stuggling with deangelo williams and brian westbrook on byes.

    thank you

I really like Tashard Choice this week against the Broncos, but only if Marion Barber is a no-go. Otherwise, I’d go with Reggie Bush, who should be utilized heavily against the Jets tough D.

    12 team league

swing position: Donald Brown (RB) or Vernon Davis (TE)

    • Adam Hutcheson permalink*
      October 2, 2009 5:33 pm

Gotta go Donald Brown. He’ll get more guaranteed touches this week and is good for a breakaway TD every now and then. Both are great plays this week.

  5. October 8, 2009 12:08 am

what do you think about playing tashard choice week 5? will barber get the workload or will his quad limit his carries?

    • Adam Hutcheson permalink*
      October 9, 2009 11:43 am

Ya know, I’m really not too big and Tashard. I think Barber will get too many carries to make Tashard very valuable. Chances are you have better options.

    week 6 tough choices

    at qb hasselback vs arizona
    schaub vs cincy

at wide reciever and running back

of the seven which 4 do you play must start one wide reciever

    ray rice vs minnesota
    turner vs chicago
    kevin smith vs green bay
L tomlinson vs denver (monday night)

b edwards vs buffalo (looked really good on monday)
colston vs ny giants (coming off a bye week)
burleson vs arizona (lots of targets and td’s of late)

so do i play 3 running backs and one wr or two of each…

    please help

      QB- Hasselbeck
Opposing QBs on the Cards have a 98.0 rating. Bengals opposing QBs are stuck with an 82.0
      WR/RB
Burleson will be a good play against Arizona. Plus, how do you bench him after last week?
I assume you drafted Turner first round? Start him. He may be off to a slow start, but he always has the ability to put up big numbers.
I would also start LT against the Pack. They’ve only given up 2 scores (in 4 games), but they allow an average of 112 per game. Plus LT comes out of the backfield.
Last guy is Braylon if, and only if, Cotchery is still hurting. Monitor Cotchery’s status. If Cotchery is going to play a lot, go Colston. But Colston is always hit or miss (especially with all the other offensive weapons on the Saints). We will have our Week 6 injuries up on Saturday. So check back here on Saturday to see what Cotchery is doing.

LT plays against denver not green bay

k smith plays against green bay

        so far i agree

        burleson at wide reciever
        turner at running back

need two more out of five both can be running backs which i feel score on average more than wideouts…

        other 5 are

        lt vs denver
        rice vs minnesota
        k smith vs gbay
        colston vs nygiants
        b edwards vs buffalo

which 2 of the above 5??

is jeremy maclin for real? is he worth the start over santonio holmes this week?

    • Adam Gori permalink*
      October 15, 2009 12:58 pm

Well, that all depends on Kevin Curtis. He’s listed as questionable, but had full participation in practice. He did that last week too, though. If Curtis plays and, more importantly, starts, don’t expect too many big games from Maclin. If Curtis sits, Maclin starts, he’s definitely worth a shot. Again, check back Saturday for our Week 6 injuries to see Curtis’ status.

Yea sorry. Not sure why I had GB on the mind. Start K Smith. And I’m just not sure about Rice outscoring a WR this week since Minnesota still hasn’t even allowed a scoring TD. So, I’m sticking with what I said before about starting Edwards if Cotchery is still hurt.

    Hey guys
This week I have huge bye week issues at QB in my 2 QB league. I need to start 2 of these three guys (J Russell) is the only starter on waivers)

    Hill (SF) vs Hou
    Bulger (STL) vs Indy
    Fitzpatrick (Buf) vs Car

I’m leaning towards Hill and Fitzy but no matter what it doesn’t look good.

    • Adam Hutcheson permalink*
      October 21, 2009 3:07 pm

Gotta go with Hill. The Crabtree Experiment should begin on Sunday. Facing the Texan’s D is probably the most favorable matchup for your QB options.

      • Pat permalink
        October 21, 2009 6:34 pm

Hill was going to be one of them. Of the other 2 guys who do you not hate the least? I’m leaning towards Fitzpatrick b/c I think Indy Knocks Bulger out after 1.5 quarters.

Alright, im having issues picking someone for my swing position…

    Santonio Holmes vs. MIN
    Carnell Williams vs. NE
    Owen Daniels vs. SF
…and you never know..maybe Larry Johnson vs. SD??

i feel like i almost have to start holmes vs. MIN, but he just hasnt shown me anything yet.

    • Adam Hutcheson permalink*
      October 23, 2009 11:15 pm

I think Santonio will be your best start here. The Vikings pass defense is their biggest weakness and Big Ben has been pretty spot-on in ’09. Give him a shot here, as the other options are not overwhelmingly ideal.

    Who to start

Brandon Jacobs vs Cardinals or Laurence Maroney against Tampas leaky run-D. I think Maroney is a bit of a risk but has the chance to be huge. Jacobs has dissapointed every week but do you think at home after a loss he finaly gets it going??

    • Adam Hutcheson permalink*
      October 23, 2009 11:17 pm

The Brandon Jacobs questions will keep coming in, so long as Bradshaw stays healthy. That timeshare in NY seems pretty limiting for Jacobs, but he’ll continue to get the goal line carries. Go with Jacobs this week, even though that Maroney matchup is tantalizing. If Jacobs can’t turn it around midway through the season, start Plan B.

    WEEK 8…..
    I can start 2 rb, 2 wr and 1 flex…..I have

    rb- K Moreno, R Rice, L Tomlinson, M Lynch, S Greene
    wr- G Jennings, L Fitzgerald, M Sims-walker, M crabtree, R Moss(bye)

Right now i have Rice & Tomlinson at RB, Jennings & Fitzgerald at WR, and Sims Walker at Flex……. I’m beginning to lose faith in Jennings

have 4 running backs which one do i sit?

    ray rice vs denver
    LT vs Oakland
    Turner vs New orleans
    K smith vs St louis

    really hard decision help!!!

    steve:

Turner and Kevin Smith are no-brainers, and OAK has allowed the 2nd-most fantasy points to RBs, you really have to feel good about LT.

If you look at Ray Rice on the otherhand, no RB has done better against DEN than what Cedric Benson did to the Broncos in Week 1 (76 rushing yards, 32 receiving yards, TD). In other words, there hasn’t been much for RBs against DEN. Sit Ray Rice please.

    d jackson vs cowboys
    m austin vs eagles
    c johnson vs seattle
    Lt vs ny giant
    slaton vs Indy
    a bradshaw vs san diego

can start 5 of the six who sits week 9?? and why

    thanks

Jackson, Austin, and C Johnson are all arguably must starts, util I see a reason otherwise. Austin might fall off but right now he’s scored in three straight games. No chance you sit Johnson after last week, either. I would sit LT. He rushed for 2 TDs last week, but the yards just haven’t been there. And don’t expect 2 TDs against NY. Slaton is scary just because of last week, but other than fumble issues the kid is solid. Bradshaw has the ability to do well especially since he sees good playing time. Not much going last week against the Eagles (other than the TD), but that’s because the Giants had to pass a lot, as they went down early. If it were me, I’d sit LT.
