David Brick
David is die hard sports fan hailing from the University of Maryland. Growing up in the suburbs of Washington DC, David latched onto the local NBA team, the Washington Wizards, despite their poor (and sometimes embarrassing) performances. Over the years he has remained a loyal and sometimes overly optimistic fan. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business, David hopes to work on developing and creating sports marketing campaigns in the future.

Top 5 Entrance Songs:
First, let me clarify that my “entrance songs” will be applied to the basketball court, not the baseball field. I am a man of true sport.
1. Moment of Clarity – Jay Z
This song has the ultimate beat for the baller inside of me.
2. Enter Sandman – Metallica
Seriously can there be a better song intro than Enter Sandman?
3. Bull Running Through the City- 1990 Chicago Bulls
Throughout my childhood one team reigned supreme year after year, the Chicago Bulls; this was their entrance music.
4. Beast of Burden – The Rolling Stones
This very funky tune puts me into an uplifted mood no matter what the situation.
5. Still Dre – Dr. Dre
This song can make anyone feel hardcore.
Top 5 favorite athletes:
1. Reggie Miller – Indiana Pacers
Growing up Reggie was the athlete I looked up to; he remains the greatest clutch player of all time in my mind.
2. Gilbert Arenas – Washington Wizards
A true nut job, but when he’s on fire, he lights the place up, and that day will return to Washington sooner rather than later.
3. Caron Butler – Washington Wizards
Caron embodies everything that I wish the rest of the Washington Wizards could be; powerful, consistent, and clutch.
4. Rafael Nadal – ATP
Perhaps the most exciting professional tennis player of all time, Rafa brings a ridiculous energy to the court that just sucks you in.
5. Ronaldinho – AC Milan/ Brazil
He has the “Brazilian Magic”
Top 5 Sports Moments That Stand Out as the Most Memorable:
1. Malice at the Palace – Pacers vs. Pistons 11/19/2004
The most notorious fight to happen in the NBA in my lifetime, Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson punching out fans…
2. Larry Johnson – 4 Point Play
Game 3 of the 1999 Conference Finals between the Knicks and Pacers. Down 3 with only 10 seconds on the clock, LJ hits a 3 and one more to shatter my dreams once more.
3. Maryland Terrapins beat Number 5 Ranked UNC 2/25/2007
Terps launched an amazing comeback to beat the number 5 team in the country. A completely insane finish ending 89-87.
4. Wizards vs. Raptors- Michael Ruffin tosses ball to the rafters 3/30/2007
“And a Hail Mary three by MoPete!” Mo. Peterson launches at the buzzer after bonehead Michael Ruffin celebrates too early by throwing the ball up in the air with 3.5 seconds left. I could only watch in horror from 10 rows back.
5. AC Milan vs Arsenal – Champions League in Milan 3/4/2008
90 straight minutes of jumping and chanting in Italian, which I know none of, and pretty much just going all out nuts in 30 degrees and pouring rain while wearing only a knock-off AC Milan t-shirt.
